Wanted: Linux Systems Administrator, Bristol - £35,000 + Bens

A position has arisen within a market leading organisation for a Linux Engineer to join the hosting team. Working on a variety of both back-end and front-end systems you will be closely aligned to the software development team. The appropriate applicant will be responsible for the controlled release of new code versions ensuring applications are built to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering excellent problem-solving and resolution skills, good time management and an awareness of the software development processes (agile / scrum). You will also have a commercial track record of adhering to processes and standards, a broad understanding of software development lifecycles and a good awareness of Software Configuration Management. This role will require you to work with a cross-functional team in a Multi-tasking environment, so a professional autonomous and collaborative working ability will prove invaluable.
